Recipe of Club Sandwiches

Do you know why these sandwiches are known as Club Sandwiches? Because they consist of layers. There are three layers in each sandwich and that’s how we are going to prepare this dish. Make sure you remove those ugly sides of the bread slices before you start with the following steps.

Layer 1

Take two slices of bread. Spread tomato ketchup on each of the two slices. There should be 4 tomato slices on each bread slice. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Congratulations! Layer 1 is ready.

Layer 2

Take two more slices and put a slice of bread to cover the previous layer. Thus, you would have two more empty slices waiting for you to cover them with delicious fillings.

Spread butter on the slices. You can also use cream. Put cottage cheese so as to cover each of the slices fully. Sprinkle salt and pepper and layer 2 is also ready.

Layer 3

Cover the previous layer with bread slices and now spread green chutney  on these slices. Put cucumber as the layer 3. Sprinkle salt and pepper.

This was the last layer. Now, you just need to cover this with bread slices but make sure that you spread some butter on the inner side of the slices.

Now, cut the slices into triangles as shown in the image . Serve or in case, you want to store these sandwiches for some time, wrap them in aluminium foil and store.
